3.7 - Particulars Recorded in the Register of Civil Aircraft
3.7.1 - The Register forms the official public record relating to the registration of an aircraft in Bermuda and the particulars recorded in it are the only details which will be furnished to enquirers and be in the public domain. All other records relating to the owner, aircraft operation, leasing arrangements, etc are treated in confidence.
3.7.2 - The Register will include the following particulars:
- the number of the certificate of registration;
- the nationality and the registration marks assigned to the aircraft;
- the make and model of the aircraft;
- the serial number of the aircraft;
- in the case of an aircraft registered in pursuance of the exemptions relating to legal or beneficial ownership resting with an unqualified person who is resident in Bermuda, an indication that it is so registered;
- relevant dates of registration, change of ownership, cancellation of registration etc.
3.7.3 - The Director, upon receipt of a technically supported application, will issue a Noise Certificate in respect of aircraft qualifying for the issue of such a certificate under the provisions of ICAO Annex 16 to the International Convention on Civil Aviation.
3.7.4 - Upon registering an aircraft in Bermuda the Director will furnish the person in whose name the aircraft is registered with a Certificate of Registration.
