After a period in the British Army when he was attached to The Army Air Corps and served in Aden and Germany, Pat joined a civilian airline as an avionic engineer. After a number of career moves that included employment in Brunei and Malaysia, Pat joined the Civil Aviation Authority of UK and worked in various CAA offices including Heathrow, Hong Kong and Aviation House Gatwick. After seventeen years with CAA he joined Bermuda DCA as an Airworthiness Surveyor. He now heads the Airworthiness section and is primarily responsible for avionic matters and modifications and is the principle Airworthiness Inspector for Aeroflot.

Dean has over 14-years in aviation; his aviation career began as an apprentice aircraft mechanic; during that time he attended National Aviation Academy in Clearwater Florida where he obtained an Associate degree in Aviation Technology and his United States Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Certificate. Duties included performing routine and non-routine maintenance on Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767, 777, Airbus A300, A310, A320, McDonnell Douglas DC10, Lockheed Tri-Star's and various corporate aircraft. His Airworthiness Surveyor duties at the Bermuda DCA include Certificate of Airworthiness applications and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer validation applications.

Denis has been in the aviation field for 14 years in Bermuda. He joined the Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation in February 1999.

He attended the Technical Institute, and the Bermuda College in Bermuda. He received further training in the USA, at the Acme School of Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received a diploma in Science of Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance, and obtained his FAA A&P License.

Denis, is a born Bermudian, and continues to receive training in the various related technologies in the aviation industry.

Denis' primary duties and responsibilities in the Department include the issue and re-issue of approvals for Aircraft Maintenance Organizations.

Mark spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy where he earned his FAA Aircraft & Powerplant license. He than started working at an FBO in San Diego, California for several years until he hired on with a major U.S. airline. He retired after 19 years of dedicated service and joined the Bermuda DCA. His primary duties include issuing Certificates of Airworthiness and approvals for Aircraft Maintenance Organizations.
